the evening and enjoyed chatting
with one another and playing
shuffleboard etc. We are looking forward

Our Halloween Party was a great success. We
played games and
touched some gooey, icky stuff!! Thank you to
everyone who came and helped make it a fun
day. Hope to see you
next year for lots more fun and games. Here are a few of the memories of the day.
It was a fun time had by all...
The mummy wrap was lots of fun...

He makes the task seem easy
Some had the skill down pat...
Dunking for apples take special skills...
Dunking or spooning for apples was a fun activity.
It was a fun time had by all...

October 29th/2006
South End Community Center was the bone chilling
scene for our first Halloween party. On
Sunday, October 29th, the ghouls were out.
Frightening music filled the air, while even more
terrifying dancing was going on. Pin the nose on
the ghost, hand exploration in .....worms?....
...brains?.....eyeballs ?.The transformation of
humans to mummy's during the toilet paper mummy
wrap races was such fun. Halloween cupcake
decorating put smiles on the children's faces, but
eating the creations was even better ! Move over
Larry! Our future enthusiasts
were certainly
stepping up to the plate. To top things off , The Texas chain saw
massacre.........or was that
Manfred, came bursting through the door with his heart stopping
chainsaw roaring.
Thank you Bev and Thomas
for organizing such a fun event. One of the
benefits of membership !

June 10th 2006, was the setting for the Brandon Travelers Day Parade.
Hard work and spirited execution secured a first place spot for best float.
Congratulations to all to helped to make this event successful ,ensuring
positive
exposure to our Community ,as well as our Club. A huge " Thank You " to
all .
Plans are already in the works for next years parade...........

Janice in conference to see what the next step should be.
The night before.....time was ticking.
That was a very long flat bed to decorate.....
Penny conducting the "fluffing" bee.
Pauls Hauling let us use the 1958 model truck, which was the first hauling truck for Brandon
Some last minute checks before we go.
Manfred was ensuring everything was in its place.
Opps.....we left Wolfgang holding the balloons. He was very much needed to drive us into victory.
